[Another week, another island. That's just the routine, now, but Dodo's Outlook seems nice. It doesn't take much convincing to drag Xiao along with him, and he's kind of excited to look at the planetarium.
The events of the weekend still linger in his mind, but. He's here. Xiao is here. Beelzebub, too, and everyone else at the spa is still here... He can't forget everything, but. Life moves on, and he's not alone.
He looks over at Xiao, a small smile on his face.]
[ Xiao nods. He's not used to doing such mundane things, not used to courting anyone or being so sweet with someone – but he can't say he isn't content, either. He looks towards the cafe, and then at Haruka. ]
[ Yeah, the refresher was a lot, huh!! Thanks Zelkov, but Xiao figures it'll be a once in a while thing for him. Anyway, Xiao takes the tea and gives it a sip. He already knows he'll like it, so he's not even remotely disappointed when he lowers his cup and nods at Haruka. ]
[ It's absolutely legal to fluster Haruka, thank you very much.
Xiao smiles to himself, but he follows Haruka to find a nice spot to sit and look at the stars. He sits, leaves space for Haruka, and gets in closer. He sets his tea down next to him.
Then, he leans in and shamelessly kisses Haruka's cheek. Afterwards, he pulls back, cheeks pink. He averts his gaze. ]
[He has no idea how Xiao can be so smooth - it’s not even like he’s particularly suave of anything, but the things he says still make Haruka feel ways he’s never felt before.
It all makes him feel a bit sheepish.]
Well… I don’t know if it’s how I make you feel, but… I like it.
[He brings Xiao happiness… It’s not the same happiness the fans feel, not that that’s less real then this. This is a happiness that comes from who Haruka really is.]
[ Xiao can't help it when his heart starts racing. He's used to living a life full of agony and destruction, so when Haruka says he enjoys being around him, it doesn't sink in immediately. It's a gradual realization, one that's still quick and hits him like a truck. ]
Haruka...
[ Xiao moves so he's facing him, and he leans in to give Haruka a gentle, lingering kiss on his lips.
He's not sure how else to convey how he's feeling. ]
idk it's some point in week 4

Do you want to get anything at the café first?
no subject
I will try anything you recommend.
no subject
Then let’s go. I’m sure there’ll be at least one thing you like.
[Plus, a café is an ideal date spot, isn’t it? Nice and cozy, and then they can look at the stars…]
no subject
Yes. I've grown more accustomed to mortal food, by now.
no subject
[He still has that recipe tucked away, though.]
I really should cook for you some day. Try out being domestic.
no subject
[ He wouldn't say no to Haruka's cooking, though! ]
I look forward to what you'll suggest.
no subject
I won’t lead you astray.
[But café time! Haruka decides to get the both of them tea, because they should probably get something relaxing and not, like. A refresher.]
Here! This should be pretty light.
no subject
It's good. What flavor is this?
no subject
[Me spinning the wheel of fruit teas.
He grins, taking Xiao’s hand again and tugging him along. There’s more to see!]
Do you stargaze a lot?
no subject
[ He's never done it with someone else, though. ]
Have you?
no subject
[Asides from that one time, there’s not many monsters to kill…]
Not really? You can’t see the stars very well in Tokyo, but sometimes you can see the moon really clearly.
no subject
[ He looks over at Haruka. There's something soft about his expression. ]
I hope you will enjoy yourself. We'll make it count.
no subject
[Ah... Xiao looking at him like that makes him feel inexplicably flustered, and he ducks his head.]
There's no need to make this sound like such a big deal! It's just a date...
[tsuns]
no subject
[ He's not even trying to flirt, he's just saying what he's thinking. ]
Even if it's just a date, I'm grateful, because it's with you. That's more than enough for me.
no subject
W-well, I guess if you want to look at it like that, it’s fine.
[Help.]
Let’s go look at the stars already.

Is this comfortable for you...?
no subject
It’s fine…
[He’s blushing pretty severely, though. But he had a shy smile on his face, and he leans against Xiao.]
I didn’t think you’d be so affectionate.
no subject
[ He wants to be a little more forward with Haruka. Even so, his confession comes with a deeper blush of his own. ]
I want to reciprocate your affections. If I can make you feel the way that I do when you're affectionate with me, then I'll keep doing it.
no subject
It all makes him feel a bit sheepish.]
Well… I don’t know if it’s how I make you feel, but… I like it.
[As embarrassing as it is to admit.]
no subject
[ He tries to think of how to put this in words. It takes him a moment, but when he figures it out, he answers shyly: ]
...It brings me happiness.
[ Happiness. That's a word he hasn't used in a long, long time. ]
no subject
Xiao…
[This isn’t a feeling he’s used to.]
I’m happy when I’m with you.

Haruka...
